These and other reasons may be why online therapy is a good fit for you! Times and Seasons therapy provides flexible early morning, late evening hours, or even lunch break times to fit your busy schedule.

Online therapy may NOT be a good fit for those who have a complicated psychiatric diagnoses or at risk for self-harm or suicide. If you do not have a place where you can speak safely and freely during appointments online therapy might not be a good fit for you. During your free 15-minute consultation a therapist will collaborate with you to determine if online therapy is a good fit for you.

Do I have a private space where I can feel comfortable talking freely?

Often times therapy is a space to share very personal or private things that you are not always comfortable sharing publicly. While online therapy is a great resource for those who find it difficult to meet in a therapy office, it is important to have a space where you feel like you can speak openly with your therapist. It can also be helpful to have headphones when speaking with your therapist to keep your sessions private.

Is my internet connection good enough to stream audio and video?

Most internet services offered are sufficient to stream a video therapy session. If you can stream videos through your internet, you should be able to stream a video therapy session.

What if I have complicated psychiatric diagnosis?

While a complicated psychiatric diagnosis does not immediately disqualify you from online therapy, it is important to have a conversation about your care team and how your therapist could be a part of your support team.
